Making New Friends
And first of all, welcome back Nara and Chris from this beautiful, adventurous trip in China.
At our house, we meet a lot of nice and interesting people that leaves an impression on us and our time with them isn't wasted. Recently, we met Jo Sutherland from Minneapolis.
She travels for months visiting different part of the states and came to Ontario to find more information about her ancestors. We got along so well with her that we kept inviting her over for lunch or supper and her inviting us for brunch last sunday at The Priest Mill in Alexandria. Then her and I went to town on Monday to take her Liberty Jeep for an oil change and had lunch at Best Western. Our last meal together was at our house and we had peaches and cream corn for supper with salads, pies and tea.

his is how Jo travels with her two dogs that are charming and fun to be with. They are boxers but friendly type of boxers. I think also it's how they are raised and loved.
Lucky her to travel this way. That's how I would also like to travel with Dave and Osker visiting and having a laptop computer on board to work as well. Don't worry there is air-conditioning on board.
Here is a picture of Dave sitting comfortably in this RV enjoying a nice visit with Jo while the dogs are near me. And at the same time, visualizing doing the same kind of adventure. It takes a lot of preparations before making such a trip but worth it I presume. Sometimes, dreams can come true.
Plus, one thing that we liked to do while she was here is to show her the warf where we take Osker sometimes to meet other dogs.
This warf is in Lancaster which is 7 km. from Williamstown. It is really beautiful there. I've been trying to take pictures of an heron that apparently come close by when fish is being thrown in the water. I saw him one day when I didn't have the camera with me and now that I bring it along, he doesn't show up.

So big dogs, small dogs, they are all friendly. Most of them are there without a leash. It's a very good place for both people and pets to meet.
