I Can

Nara's birthday was celebrated on August 31st and now it's David's birthday on the 7 of September. Winston wasn't with us this time to celebrate but here is what we did that Thursday night.

A reservation was made for 6:00 at the Georgian House.
A special table was reserved for us just in a beautiful corner for privacy. We were both happy for that selection. Here is Dave looking at the menu.


To start with, with both had carrot soup followed by escargots with garlic butter and cheese for Dave while I had a garden salad. For the main course, Dave ordered beef wellington with a bake potato and vegetables and I had salmon with crab and shrimps served with rice and vegetables. And for dessert......








Surprise..... surprise. Dave didn't know that his favorite cheese cake would come to our table with a happy birthday song from the waitress along with good wishes. The kind of coffee he likes completed the meal. I had the same thing but with tea. There was unfortunately no room for me to finish the cake. I had only two bites from it.

Before we left, the nice waitress who booked this special table asked if she could take a picture of both of us before we left and here it is.
Before we went in, Dave spotted a sign saying that the jazz band would be on Friday night. I was excited as we were already planning to come back again to enjoy the evening with music. It's too bad they were not on that night. But we got too busy to go as Dave had to prepare his parcels to take over the border early Saturday morning and I was getting tired too after a hectic day at school. It will be for another time.
