Going for a walk

Wednesday afternoon was quite beautiful to explore and look at nature once again with our cameras. Nara and I were equipped and ready along with the patience that photographers must have in order to capture the dream shot. Haha Nara had more patience than I did about taking sunset pictures. This picture was taken after lunch just to show that spring is just around the corner. We can even feel the heat in the car. Yes. Spring is just just around the corner. I can hardly wait.
Whose prints are these? It stopped for a bit and then continued on......

I touch from the past. Likes to hang on to trees and branches.

These berries cannot be eaten by us unfortunately as it reminds me of cranberries. Birds at this time are not even touching them as they are eating seeds from our feeders.

This twig was so unusual and beautiful with roundness pointing from everywhere that I had to capture it to be MINE. The satisfaction of seeing something new to capture was well worth it.
Just after tutoring, I decided to head back outside to join Nara for the perfect sunset pictures. I didn't last long. Got distracted to another kind of photo taking. There was a little bonfire that was just started and it was just the right touch to end our photography session on a good note.
When I looked back at this photo, I was pleasantly surprised to notice that the fire was just like dancing at sunset. Do you agree?

Two Important Celebrations

Thursday, February 1st, was when Nara returned from South Korea. We could hardly wait. I kept pretty busy at school so that the time would fly by pretty fast. And it did. Not sooner home that we left for the airport. Upon arrival, the plane was delayed 30 minutes but arrived sooner. Then we found the perfect spot to see her arrive on our Canadian soil. What a joy and a relief to finally see her beautiful smile. Then, we ran to greet her as I handed Dave the camera to take pictures of our first long awaited HUGS and hugs.......and hugs.....
This was celebration #1. Nara had planned her trip to be home for Winston's birthday which happened to be on Saturday the 3rd.
Here are pictures of the two of them catching up on news. And to just be together.
Then it was celebration #2 which was celebrating Winston's birthday. Also, we had to open more Christmas gifts that Nara didn't want to send by mail.
These cool Korean candles were different from what we get here and unique too.
Nara gave Winston speakers for his MP3 that are extraordinary. What power! A gift that was well received and appreciated.
What a nice change it was to finally have the whole family together once again.
